New (sorta new...) chips in WI

I made a casino run yesterday and hit Oneida in Green Bay, Menominee in Keshena and North Star in Bowler - places I used to hit every 4-6 weeks, but now every 8-10 weeks since I moved last spring. Too much to do (or that I should get around to doing...) in the new house.
This trip I added an extra 80 miles on the trip to go up to Northern Lights in Carter, and found a treasure. They have pulled the faded pink 50 cent chips from the tables and replaced them with new Chipcos. The new ones have the same design, but the pink areas are now yellow. I asked the dealer and she said they switched them last summer because of confusion between the pink 50's and red $5 chips. They still have some fading on the $5's and all the $1's have some fading. About a quarter to a third of the $1's are pale versions of their once colorful selves. I commented on this and the dealer said, "Any blank white ones we know are a buck." I replied that I had a poker set of blank white (plastic) chips at home I bring up and cash in!"
Since these chips were out so long, I figured Greg would've had one by now, but his other sources in the great lakes must've let him down, cause I checked the Chipguide (R) this morning and didn't see the new 50 center! I grabbed a half dozen extra. Anybody need one? If there is a big demand, I could be forced to drive back up there before the Chicago trading event in March or before the National in LV.

See you at both events.
Best, Jerry
