Can you imagine, say, Spencer Tracy saying "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Neither could I. Certainly wouldn't be quite as funny... of that I can assure you.

Without style, what are you left with... form and substance? What good is that??? My point, then, is that Publius had NOTHIN' on Julius Henry Marx. And, frankly, neither did Spencer Tracy.
