I understand fully Michael and only suggested the seminar at the convention to start the "education" ball rolling as many on this BB have pointed to as a way to possibly stop slabbed chips from entering the marketplace. These things DO have a tendency to become shouting matches especially over such a controversial issue as this. Maybe the club should then sponsor flyers or an article in the club magazine bringing to light the dangers of slabbing. After all, with all the shows letting the 'slabbers' have a table to tout their wares (remember, the club show isn't the DO ALL in chip shows) maybe it's time to show the negative point of view! I commend those who are willing to take an anti-slabbing table at the upcoming Super Bowl show to give an opposite view.
As has been said MAAAAANNNY times in the past, we're a small section of chippers here and 'soapboxing' the issue here does nothing to help 'educate' the remaining club members. We need 'voices' at shows, in print etc. Just my opinion...........
