Casinos are happy to have you take one of their chips at $5, $25 or higher since they cost much less. Even the $1 chip constitutes no loss to them. State regulations generally prohibit the sale of chips and there are federal laws as well that conceivably could come into play. But suffice it to say,the casinos are happy if you remove their in play chips, assuming, of course, that you have paid for them. Further, they are selling those chips to you so what you do with them is not their busienss. However, some Indian casinos have signs posted that chips are not to be removed from the premises; that sign is generally ignored. Roulette chips are a different matter and your innocent post could spawn a thousand replies but I shall leave that up to Greg's gang of roulette harvesters <g>. In any event, welcome aboard.
