After receiving several e-mails asking why my name isn't on "the list", it's time to go public. So for those of you who care...
I don't put my name on lists. Having been burned before by putting my name down on paper believing (and being told) that it would be used in one way, only to discover that the list was used in a totally different manner, one that I strongly disagreed with - I vowed that it wouldn't happen again. There's only one way for me to protect my good name from that kind of abuse - never add it to another list.
Before anyone starts jumping down my throat...
I'm not suggesting in any way, shape or form that the "anti-slabbing" list will be misused/abused by members of this organization. I'm simply saying that for personal reasons, I won't take that chance.
For the record...
I will not have slabbed chips in my collection.
I will do what is within my power to educate others about slabbing(and the related grading issues) and how it is detrimental to the hobby of chipping.
Hope this clears up any questions about why my name hasn't appeared.
