As far as I can see, there are about 165 collectors on Andy's list. That is less than 10% of the current membership. Why do you think that the "club members" are willing to support a ban on slabbing? That is why I proposed some kind of referendum to find out the other 90% of members' opinion.

I personally, at this time, can see no practical use for slabbing in this hobby. However, my name will not go on "The List". After 63 years, I have learned that "never" is a long, long time.
