I was confused on the "Charlie's", too, until Jimbo straightened me out last year. Ernie Becker owns (owned) 3 joints:
Charlie's Bar, slots only at 2089 N. Jones, 1989-still open
Charlie's Lakeside (Bar & Grill), slots only at 9603 W. Sahara Ave., 1989-No

Both of these had bar & food chips that could be redeemed at either place or at Ariz. Charlie's when Becker still owned it.

Ariz. Charlie's, a full casino at 740 S. Decatur Blvd., 1988-No

Becker sold Ariz. Charlie's to Carl Ichon, who also opened Ariz. Charlie's East at 5110 Boulder Hwy. in 2000. This location was formerly Sunrise Suites, which was denied a license by NV Gaming. Sunrise Suites never opened but they had chips made.
