Steve; I just read a full page ad that appeared on the back inside cover of the current Edition of Numismatic News (January 2, 2001) which reads as follows:

HAVE NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation of America) GRADE YOUR COINS "SAME-DAY" AT FUN. "Submit coins UP TO $1,500 in value and NGC Same-Day Grading is just $50. Submit OVER $1,500 in value and NGC Same-Day grading is just $100."
