Cheap gas in a Vega?

As far as shipping: former Postal employee here... and it seems to me (it's been a few years though... like 10... 12 +++) I'd see 75 lb boxes of dictionaries come through REALLY cheap. Post Office has 3rd Class Rate in Parcel Post which is/was the most reasonable way to ship anything big, bulky, heavy that I know of. PP doesn't get treated "worse" than higher class mail (it ALL gets treated poorly! LOL) It just gets 'worked' after the higher classes which means an extra day in every GMF (General Mail Facility) along the way.

Air Borne Express is supposedly cheaper than UPS... and finally:
an "I'm showing my age but still remember someone doing this": Greyhound Bus.
