I dont think that slabbing will attract new members or collectors, but probably some investors. Question is, who is this investor going to sell the chip to when he wants to get out? Us I assume, and he will take it in the shorts because he will get what it is worth, not what he paid. As far as new collectors getting chips, they should do it the old fashoned way. Go to the casinos and get them for themselves or come to a show and buy some from us, or get them on Ebay. As far as slabbing increasing prices, the last time I checked, I had a choice as to what I purchased and what I didn't. If it cost to much, then I dont buy it. The dealer, like any business, will have to adjust prices to reflect the market.
