The "I'm Right, You're Wrong" attitude exibited by the factions regarding slabbing and other issues IMO harms this hobby as much as the issues themselves. I and probably many others haven't spoken up about the current issues because we don't want to be abused for perhaps having differing opinions. I have to believe that prospective members are saying no way do I want to get involved with people like this. I've even wondered why I need the club if members are going to verbally attack other members because because they don't happen to agree with each other. And I KNOW & LIKE most of you. What's happened to respecting another collector's thoughts? Don't most of us have the same goals in mind ultimately?

Has anyone thought any thought about what has to be happening at ICG? They must be ROTFL at the way they're affecting this club. What could be better for them than for the CCGTCC to self-destruct from the inside out, thus destroying the base which might be able to educate newcomers about the hobby. Then attracting collectors who don't know anything about slabbing and its affects on the market is easy. And who suffers? Not those who understand what slabbing does, but those who might be honest to goodness people like us. People who want to own a piece of history and don't understand that once upon a time, it was possible to buy an unslabbed chip.

Passion is good, but let's remember who the bad guys are in this situation. It's not the member who feels as passionate about the hobby as you do.
