John, in addition, I want our club CCGTCC to not participate in slabbing. I don't want any slabbed chips for sale in our magazine, auctions or convention. The club should not participate or tolerate something I feel is harmful to itself and the hobby. I will use my vote and present my views to try to curb slabbing in CCGTCC. We have rules and codes in our club that reflect what the membership wishes the club to stand for. If CCGTCC might someday say NO to slabbing there doesn't need to be any reason why someone can't engage in this activity without using the club facilities. This discussion has already had rancor heard from both sides, it's not new and doesn't advance anyones point of view. Also expressing arguments one way or the other is still permitted as far as I know and when 100+ make a statement, maybe that statement is correct!!!! Don't victimize pro-slab chippers when they have a place to present their views and do not use it. Perhaps they could step up to be participants in the debate instead?
