I hope to challenge pro-slabbers or you that are indifferent to slabbing into responding here with your side of some questions please. I’m seeing posts that question taking a stance against slabbing, individually and as a club. Look elsewhere for Slabbing 101, maybe Archie Black or someone will re-post the basics from time to time. I’m on list as being against buying and selling of slabbed chips. I think it is bad for the hobby and I’m willing to say “no” out loud, in public. Don’t rationalize this issue based on your own comfort, participate in the discussion or face seeing the change of our enjoyable hobby as we know it. Maybe you don’t mind change but in the days that come, I think slabbing is going to cost us much more than $10 a chip if we let it into chip collecting.
