They have also been used in a few NV casinos, pre gaming regulations that required names, cities, states, etc.

The Palace Station was still using them for poker tournaments a couple years ago. I could not believe it when I seen it.

Any chip being used pre regulations were grandfathered in. Such as generic roulettes.
