Hey guys,
I went down to Mhoon Landing today (that's where the old Splash/Lady Luck/Bally's/President were) and noticed something about the property that's SUPPOSED to be home to the new "Splash Back" casino in the not-to-distant future. What I noticed was that the property there is EXACTLY the same as it was 2 years ago when my wife and I went down there to look at it. I couldn't tell that they were planning on doing ANYTHING with it. Actually, if you ever saw the action that went on down there (I worked at the President until it closed, so I did) it's a rather depressing sight. I have heard that they are waiting for the water to rise before they move a barge in so I'll keep an eye out. I think it would be a GREAT idea for them to open around the middle of April since that's when I'm trying to get a show down here. I think that would help out with attendance. Anyway, I just thought I'd let anyone who might give a rat's posterior in on my little discovery. Hell, if I had to go all the way down there to pay a ticket, I might as well get a little sightseeing in along the way, huh?
