... Steve. I appreciate your forthright response in that regard.
I will briefly reply on other points:
Regarding "economic decisions", it will still be your choice to make the economic decision whether to participate in the convention as a dealer at all. Maybe it's not the decision you'd like to be making, but it's still there to make. If the issue is theoretical now, but may matter years from now, the subject can always be revisited at that time by the board then currently in place, and that board will have the authority to allow the sale of slabbed chips if they then feel it is in the best interests of the club to do so.
>> Those 4 out of the 365 days are damn near the only days that matter. <<
If you think I don't understand that, you are seriously mistaken. In fact, it is precisely the point, particularly as far as ICG is concerned. If you think my comments thus far have failed to sufficiently acknowledge this reality, I'm sorry. I thought the point was so obvious as to not require explanation.
And, if slabbed chips are so currently inconsequential to the market from a dealer's point of view (as you seem to think they are), then any prohibition on them at this time will have little practical effect on you or any other dealer. If THAT's the case, why are you so concerned about it?
