You are absolutely correct. Some folks think that Ebay is the last word on a chip's value. It's NOT! Some folks think that a chip posted on this BB is the last word. It's NOT! The various reference catalogs and Price Guides are not the last word either, nor is the club's annual auction.

A chip's value is determined by what someone is willing to pay for that chip at that particular time. A chip's value depends upon who your customer is. Rather than get bogged down in another controversial, confrontational thread, if anyone would like a futher detailed explanation, please email me.
