Bill, see my response to Lee's post. Let the free market work before and after the club's annual convention. That's how automobile dealers work here in New Jersey.... Sunday sales are "banned" (if that's the word some well-meaning chippers are hung up on). I prefer the word "restricted".
But to answer your post about "educating chippers on what slabbing does to the hobby" .... I thought that's exactly what has been going on here for over a week now! How do we educate new chippers that are coming into the hobby in February, March, April, May, June.... by still having these discussions on the bb forever? I don't think so.
