Re: Stateline Saloon-Easter
In Response To: Re: Stateline Saloon ()

Christine, welcome to the BB.
Here is one of the Easter chips. The other one is yellow.
They were made at the direction of a chipper named Gordon Hall. He also bought all of them. 300 sets made. He figured to make a killing. Most chippers would not pay the price. Gordon and the Stateline got in trouble with NV gaming over their deals with chips. Gordon is now deceased. No a chipper did not kill him.

Stateline is in Amargosa Valley and is owned by Doris Jackson. She claims to be the 1st female casino owner. The calls herself "The 1st Lady Of Gaming." Nice lady. I am sure I can dispute the title but never have. <g> I feel certain Judy Bailey ( Hacienda) is the real 1st lady of gaming. I have an article about Judy on Chequers.
The Stateline has one BJ table and is only open when Doris feels like dealing.
Gordon designed and bought 90% of many LE's from Stateline. The 12 days of christmas set was being advertised on this BB last week.
