Hey King..... do you think the same logic would apply to your beloved silver strikes ... ? If not, why not? Or is it just the chip hobby you are trying to ruin......?

We're just a bunch of chip collectors who want to keep our fun activity clean and simple and free of all the (over)grading hype that slabs will bring to our hobby. Licensing agreements, telling casinos our wishes, approaching copyright holders, advertising departments, guest appearances & autographs .... sounds to me like you've just described the baseball card "industry".

I don't know of anyone in this club who would like to see that happen. Ooops; maybe ONE might!

Would you suggest that the club make arrangements for a couple of bagpipers to play the "Amazing Grace" dirge this June during the banquet at Tropicana? Geez; just think, if the club was back at the Orleans in 2001, we could hire a solemn dixieland band to play a more suitable, "Take a Closer Walk With Thee."
