Jim: Let me ask you this question, and i'm going to use a figure that is out of date and maybe the value has changed up or down.

A certain item sold at the 1996 Club auction.
Lot # 88 $5 Golden Goose. $3000

If a customer showed up at this years convention and had that chip in a slab and wanted to sell it to you for say $1500 - What would you do.

This question can also be asked of any other club member be it they are a dealer or collector

How are you goint to handle telling this customer that they have a banned item

again you are trying to make the point of not banning slabbing but banning it from club venues - I think that it should be left up to the membership of weather or not to collect slabs.
