Will the number get them off the hook for attribution? Coins are graded & certified as genuine...If it's slabbed & says Las Vegas & the chip is verified later to come from California...who's responsible? Is that's the way it was in TCR the excuse. We all know the TCR authors do their very best to attribute chips & make corrections in every issue.(But we do not pay them to certify that every attribution is correct.) Coins are certified as authentic & graded will chips also be? Thinking out loud again...Sorry. Who would be responsible for the difference in value?
