Peter; The club also has a means of policing ourselves through the CC & GTCC Code of Conduct that each member is expected to abide by. Should such a deception take place between two club members, there will be a similar resolution to the problem in the end. There are some very knowledgeable members in this club to consult. I and others vividly recall the examples of El Rancho chips that Howard Herz exposed and publicized in the club magazine. How about some of the small crowns that Perlowski and Trimble have identified as not being genuine casino chips ... not to mention the chips that Bill Borland had duped many collectors about that have been reported. When misrepresentations are made, either a refund will be made and the buyer made whole, or the individual who sold the piece would not be a club member for very long.
Just another reason why this club (to me) is more than four issues of a magazine and a convention.
