Yes. Three of them. Had set up twice. Oncce with
Mark Lighterman, and the second time took a portion
of Al Rollins' table. The first time is when I
introduced all the International jetons and plaques you recently learned about.
I Had a huge display of plaques and jetons from
France, Germany, Belgium and Spain that were never
seen in this country; was a big hit. All were very
enjoyable visits. In fact, got to go to the Grand
Opening of the Monte Carlo at one convention. There
was also a casino trade show one year being held at
the MGM the same weekend of the convention was at
the Aladdin. Had to cancel my reservations and
table one year, but Doug Saito saw to it that Don
and Jean took the table.
I've been to Vegas several times. THe first time my wife and I visited (1980) we got to do a lot of sightseeing. Barbara now goes out 4-times a year with her group, and she's able to visit family in town at the same time.
I've only been to Reno once, and I'll take it over Vegas, anytime. The year was 1951 <g>. I was 9-years-old and with my mother and father. We visited every casino in town that summer; over and over (8-weeks). We lived at 55 Imperial Blvd.
Do you set up, too? I don't recall ever meeting
you.
I've been to the Blast From The Past twice, and set
up twice. Both of those shows were great. I'm
looking forward for Bob to doing another show in the
near future.
