This morning's San Francisco Chronicle has a front page article on Oakland Mayor (and former governor) Jerry Brown negotiating with an Indian tribe on building an Indian casino in Oakland at the foot the Bay Bridge. Although it mentions building a Bellagio by the Bay, doesn't sound like there's really any connection with the Las Vegas Bellagio. Also no indication the current governor, Gray Davis, would approve.
