The same way it does in baseball cards & coin collecting. Archie has already explained it to you in detail. Re-read his posts about slabbing. You are so caught up with most if us having "knee jerk reactions" you are not letting the information about slabbing sink in. The high end collectors & dealers will have a 3rd party to go to TIME & AGAIN until they get the grade THEY want that is high enough to bleed every last dime out of a collector for a chip.
