One of the perversions of the coin grading services is that they grade current issue coins that are in perfect to almost perfect condition. MS-70 would be perfect and MS-68 and MS-69 are almost perfect. So you can go out and spend an outrageous amount of money, say $100 or more, for a 2000 Washington quarter or Kennedy half dollar in MS-70 condition. There is nothing rare or special about these coins except that that are in good condition and slabbed.
Can you imagine spending a $100 for a slabbed $1 chip from the Tropicana in uncirculated condition? I do not think that this is what chip collectors would want to do.
