As much as I hate to disagree with you (G), I think that this is something that we have to take a stand on. What is the difference in banning slabbed chips from the auction (in which all members may participate) and in banning slabbed chips from the bourse floor (In which only us money grubbing greedy dealers participate by paying a table fee). I think that the position of the club would be more strongly stated if slabbing was banned wherever necessary. Unfortunately I can not be as Libertarian as Jim Reilly. In many cases laws or rules need to be in place, and I believe that this is one of those times. Understand that there is NO middle ground on this issue those that want to slab chips, want to do so OUT OF GREED. Slabbing must be stopped before it starts.
