To me a chip with a nick or a cigarette burn is more like what collect than something direct from the cage and never to hit the tables.
Chip collecting to me evokes nostalgic memories of smoke filled rooms rumrunners, the rat pack and politicians that were... well politicians.
Chip collecting brings back memories of a Vegas where the stars mingled with John Q. Public where every town had a joint with a back room. DON"T SLAB CHIPS
