I recently received my 1st neg feedback the other day. The bidder who negged me had a invalid e-mail address on file so I was unable to contact him. 12 days after the close of the auction, the neg shows up in my feedback. I checked out ebays feedback removal & it says that they "will consider removing feedback" if "Feedback left by a user who provided eBay with false contact information during the registration process, and cannot be contacted." I thought ALL RIGHT!, & sent a note to Safe Harbor. A few days later, I received a reply that stated:
"We understand your concern in this situation and have reviewed the feedback comment in question. Unfortunately, we found that the comment that was left does not meet the requirements for removal as outlined in our feedback removal policy"
Why don't they just change their feedback removal policy to "we don't remove feedback at all, for any reason"
So, now I've got a neg & the bidder has a neg. Ebay's rules are a joke!
