You're right, they do have a lot of single and double deck available in Reno, and that suits me just fine. But I know what a shoe is, and I've been dealt blackjack out of a shoe plenty. I've seen the shoe attached to the table with a chain. I ain't never seen no chip attached to no shoe, or any chip action associated with a shoe.

I'd be more apt to guess a shoe chip is something a private investigator might carry around on his shoulder, but that'd be just a guess. Was you just guessing too, or did you leave out a passle of pertinent details?
