Line cutting is definately NOT ethical. I was about #30 in line and saw a few who would wander along chatting with friends and then suddenly not move any more. If there was a risk that I wouldn't get my chips, I probably would have made a big deal out of it. But, since I didn't know the individuals, I might have ended up attacking another icon <G>.
I would be careful about naming names unless certain. I know I left my spot to BS other chippers & returned.
Some of those trying to get extra chips were attempting to fulfill requests from people who live out of town (such as myself, normally). I only wanted 3 sets, so at his request, I picked up a couple for Chuck Smorse, who needed them for his customers. If the O'Neals or George Conrad (other suppliers of mine) had asked, I would have gone though the line to help them supply their customers. I would not have wasted my time trying to help build somebody's inventory.
