If you received that notice from Ebay then he was booted off Ebay. Ebay will not permit anyone to change there name just to avoid bad or negative feedback. He or She mus have had several negative emails sent to Ebay for them to do that.
I am glad you filed for a fee refund from Ebay and I'm sure you will sell it again even for more money. Brian
