Larry; Thanks for your explanation to BriaN. However, I think that Ebay should have made it clear that it was Ebay who unregistered "chezparee" after the fact. To many who are not familiar with all the nuances on ebay, it appeared that "chezparee" simply withdrew his bid and ebay excused it as a result of his being "unregistered". I think it would have been much clearer if ebay made it known that "chezparee's" bidding privileges were being revoked via suspending his bidder registration.

So in effect, ALL of Chezparee's bid were withdrawn.... not just his high bid..... which drove the underbidder's bid (who out bid chezparee's original bid).... to well below the second highest legitimate bid for the piece. You got screwed twice, BriaN!

I would still like to know the identity of "chezparee".
