My wife and I got away for a day and went to the riverboats in Lake Charles. Here is some news about the chips there.

The Players Island (Players and Star) have been sold to Harrah's and they will make the big switch on December 7th. My wife talked to a pit boss and he said they would have new chips then. The Chipco roulette chips continue to wear down. Most on the Players boats are uncollectible because of the shape they are in.

The Grand Palais (part of the Isle of Capri) chips are in horrible shape. The Chipcos are so worn that you can hardly see the different colors. They are going to need a change soon. The Paulson Isle of Capri chips are worn, but still usuable.
