I am going to post this message for the ones of you out there that have asked a few questions, and to give the no lifes like Andy Hughes something to talk about for a few days. You wanted a few answers, here they are.
1.) First off with you "OBS" question. I recently purchased a large 1100+ chip collection from one of this boards regulars and a club member. The collection was cataloged nicely and stated where each chip was from, if it was obsolete ect. I have sold over 700 of these so far, and found out that about 14 were still current, this was unintentional and when I got nice emails from people informing me they were current, I thanked them. When the auction ended I told the winner the chip might not be obsolete, and usually they wanted they chip anyway. Just because I don't jump on this board and explain how every transaction ended, doesn't mean I didn't handle it rightly. I sell over a hundred chips a week, and sometimes the info I get about if the chips are still being used isn't correct.

2.) To settle the Dan Clark thing once in for all. As before, just because I don't jump on the board and answer some of the idiots accusations, doesn't mean there was any wrong intended. Just for the few that I do like on here, the reason Dan Clark got around, was my label company misprinted 1000 of my return address labels, and since I was out I used those until they sent me more, rather that right my address 500 times a month. I had no idea there was a "Dan" out there. As for the supposed signing emails, I don't recall any in particular, but since I am not PERFECT like Andy, Larry and others, I can admit it is really easy when typing fast to miss the "e" and type Dan instead of Dean. EXCUSE ME for being human.

3.) As for the using a different picture crap. I tell every person who emails me who ask "Is this the same picture as last week?". I tell them the truth, which is since I sell repeated items I use the same picture from time to time, and I scan one of the lower grades, that way when they get their chip they are please it is better than expected. Look at my feedback and you will see numerous comments that directly state "Item better than described or pictured". I had ONE, and only ONE instance when someone wasn't happy, and you all know who the whiner on this board is who wasn't happy. He was offered a refund or whatever he wanted, but was such a jerk about the whole thing, there was no making him happy!!

4.) As for the Thunderbird thing, I won't even beat that dead horse, no one will believe me anyway. I was told at the show that a couple boxes were found, which to me meant 200, and only a couple of hours into the show, someone told me there were nothing but worn out ones left. I felt the one I got that was in really good shape was still worth $300-$500. At any rate, like I said I don't jump on here to answer the dumbasses accusations, for your information, I ended up giving the guy that chip for $75, not the $350 final bid since they said it was 6 boxes not 2 that showed up.

5.)Just a quick note as to the "RARE" word. People can say what they want, but when the chip rack says a chip is valued "X" dollars, and this is in good, very good, or used condition, than to me an UNCIRCULATED MINT one is a rare one. As I have found some of my chips easier to find, I HAVE stopped using rare for them, but I believe this will always be a hotly contested topic.

6.) The other big beef was that I wouldn't replace a $200 "LOST" chip from someone who said they got the package but it was damaged, and the chip wasn't in there. All of the high and mighties on the board here felt I should replace his chip or refund the money, when they know damn well they wouldn't fork out $200 or a $200 chip for the hell of it. This brought up an ethical question of why I didn't insure the chip. He didn't ask for insurance, therefore I didn't waste my time or money doing so. What was never told, is I sold 8 of those chips ALL TO PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD, everyone else got their chips, and only 2 of those were insured, because THEY requested it, so they got it. Don't get this post wrong, I totally believe the chip was lost, and the person in question WAS NOT TRYING TO SCAM ME, we just disagree as to who is responsible!!

7.) So many people wonder why I am not a member. Dozens of you know me personally and have become friends. Some have even seem my collection, which even a lot of you snooty guys know is AWESOME. I have one of the most extensive collections of older chips around, thanks to my father being in the casino business for 30+ years in the good old days. I had thought about being a member a few times, but when I would go to chapter meetings or trade sessions a few years ago, there were always a jerk or too like Andy, Rich or such that just thought there poo-poo didn't stink and that there opinion was THE ONLY ONE, and that took all the fun out of it for me. Don't get me wrong, the good DEFINATELY outnumber the bad, I just choose to be around the good and fun ones without the company of the idiots.

8.) As for wearing a different name tag at the show, I do it on PURPOSE!! It always sparks some crap from the high and mighties on this board who like to talk smack about me, and say they would like to see me face to face. Well, all I have to say is, if you know it is me, regardless of the name tage, bring it on!!!!!!!!! Stop hiding behind your keyboards, and say it to my face. There are even those few who have posted as to where I work, and that they have seen me at different places such as Hard Rock getting chips, well why hasn't ANYONE ever said a demeaning thing to my face then?? We all know why, especially those who know me personally, why they don't, because they don't have their keyboard to hide behind.

On a GOOD note, thanks to all of you who continually buy from me on the board and on ebay. Everytime I post cards or chips on here for sale, they ALWAYS sell out fast, even though Andy and others can't wait to but there smartass comments right under my post. All I can really figure is guys like him are just jealous at the amount of business I do, or just can't get a date so they just sit at home on the computer. And if people weren't so judgemental right away, maybe they would get a response from me, I just choose to let the crap go, I don't have time for this petty bickering. I have definately been wrong, but I have not repeated my mistakes, other than an occasional UNINTENDED OBS listing. Thanks to all of you who always send me uplifting emails after bashing sessions from the moron brigade, but trust me I don't lose sleep over it. I have now sold over 23,000 chips and cards on and off ebay, I must not quite as bad as they say. This should stir it up really good for awhile, so check out all of the posts after this one, the whiners should be out in force!!
