Yes, I have one of them I got from RobertE a few years ago that has one side of the inlay exposed, showing the metal center. A number of this style chips have metal centers to add weight (Caesars Palace 50c HCE, for example).

The distributor says he never delivered any of this style chip to the Americana? I wonder who presented the $1 chips to the ANA members on the junket in 1976? Doesn't seem like a distributor would be giving them away with the casino still open.
