... Pete. The side vents are the key -- and the scan is not that clear, but I have one of the chips and it is easier to see in person. If you look at the bottom edge of the vent in the scan, it appears to be of uniform depth front to rear. The '63 and '64 Vettes had horizontal vents, which were deeper at the front and tapered toward the rear. '65 through '67 had vertical vents, which would look more like the uniform appearance on the chip. The '65 and '66 models had three vents; the '67 had four.

I agree that this is probably a '65 or '66 on the chip. ----- jim o\-S
