I can't bid if anybody that has ever bid or I ever hope will bid on one of my auctions has already bid.

So it boils down to... if I want to sell on eBay, and be friends with other chippers, I'm not entitled to bid on chips I want on eBay. Bullpuckey! I think it should work the other way. I think you all should refrain from bidding on anything, period. I'm gonna be all hacked off and think you're a jerk if I see something I want and now I can't bid because you've bid. No one wants to hurt my feelings that way, now do you?
