I agree with you Larry. When the folks in CA, WA and OR see that one candidate or the other is pulling ahead, they could wait to vote until the last minute. I was watching the news yesterday and they were talking to people that were part of the "Green" party who wanted Gore to win, but wanted to vote for Nader. They got together and decided to wait until the polls almost closed before voting in case Bush was ahead. Then they would go in and vote for Gore, otherwise they were going to vote for Nader. If it was that close and people in CA decided to do that, it could possibly sway the election because there are so many freakin' people there. And they have more electoral votes than anyone else. I think there should be a blackout until all the polls have closed, then they could go ahead and post the results as the results came in, but NOT before the polls closed.
