Hi Andy,

No, the date on the magazine IS correct!! Notice the logo says Landmark PLAZA!!
It must have been completed in 1961 and not till Hughes (a relative??<G>) bought it was the casino and hotel rooms added. I'll post a scan of the cover of the magazine tonight.
