Spielbank Wiesbaden is another suprior and elegant
German casino that opened in 1720 and was closed by
the government some 150-years later in 1872 when
gambling was forbidden until 1948 in Germany
(gambling resumed for a period between 1899-1930s).

There were some 20+ casinos in operation in 1820.
