I have a feeling that they don't use clay in making "clay" chips today............ But they call them "clay" and they brag about clay. They speak of their chips as being "clay" as a distinction to the other chips that are obviously not clay -- like Chipcos, and Bud Jones' metal and plastic chips. The feeling is that if they feel like clay, call them "clay." That is good enough for me..............Atlantic Standard's web site does this very thing. At a recent Club convention the guy from Paulson who spoke to us said they were not made with clay anymore, and he called, with pride, the Paulson chips "clay."............So, let's not be pedantic; they are clay chips.
