I agree with most of what Jim Reilly said, the exception being his thoughts on the OJ trial. The only thing that mattered in the OJ trial was the change of venue, which was done for purely political reasons. After that, it was "a done deal"
And I have seen many court appointed lawyers show up not even knowing their clients name (but they did have it written down) and pleading them out immediately. I think they made a profit on the case.
