It's a sickness, a disease of the mind that forces us to buy in for far more than we really intend to play, and ponder each and every chip while that distraction called gambling goes on around us. There is no cure. Fortunately, it's not fatal, and the only known side effect is the inevitable comment, when showing off one's collection, "why the heck do you have four of the same chip?"
