Thanks to Jim Kruse, I have additional information regarding the Para-Dice Lounge to update/correct my previous post. It was not the "Shetland Gang" but rather the "Shelton Gang" that was involved in its operation. There was no relationship between the Sheltons and the Chicago Mob. Capone wanted nothing to do with this Peoria gang. Joeseph Rafool who operated the Para-Dice and who I reported died an unhappy man because he sold the name "Para-Dice" to the current "Par-A-Dice" riverboat for such a small amount actually probably never had any legel rights to the name. From a nostalgic point of view and as a publicity stunt, Rafool was paid $100. for the name. I still have 6 sets of the Para-Dice 50¢ and $5. chips for sale at $20./set (postage included).
