The $5 chip is not listed in either of the CA chip guides and was apparently unknown to collectors until last year. I bought a box at a gun show during the summer of 1999. Another box showed up on eBay shortly after. Not sure how your chips fit into that picture (separate find? or part of that other box?).

I do not have the 50 cent chip, so will take a look at your auction (can't at the moment because they've closed down eBay for their regular maintenance).
