GERMANY: Die-cut inlay - Roulca game

Casino gambling was forbidden in Germany from 1872
to 1948.

Below is a DM-10 die-cut metal inlay jeton from the
the premier series of gambling pieces used at Casino
Bad Neuenahr in 1948.

When Baden-Baden opened after WWII, they were the
only casino in Europe where you could gamble with
gold coin. In fact, Baden-Baden had a game of its
own, called Roulca. It's a form of Roulette with
replicas of playing cards; from Aces down to Nines
on both the wheel and layout instead of numbers.

Note the wheel in the crest on the reverse.
