Gene's right Dave, sometimes you never know what's going to happen when you get close to someone, no matter what others may tell you. Dr. Patch Adams, (Robin Williams played him in the movie), totally blew me off when we came face to face. We were in the parking lot at the back door where he was going in to make a speech, he & I were the only ones there, and he spent more time giving excuses why he couldn't take the time to sign than what it would take to sign 10 chips. Maybe it was just me. Then again, Gen. Schwartzkopf, when he was in town, was signing for NOBODY & was constantly surrounded by 7-8 bodyguards & police. On his way out the door, while I was being shoved against the wall by the police, I caught his attention. For some reason he said OK to me & noone else. Go figure......
