... and you'll see that I didn't think "everything else" was "acceptable". The whole point of that post was to warn people here against this guy's excessive shipping charges ("Stay away from this eBay seller if ... you don't like excessive shipping and handling charges.")

I didn't "base everything" on bad packaging. I finally decided to post negative feedback because the packaging was inadequate for the charges attributed to it. If the guy had charged $1 for shipping and sent the chips the way he did, no negative feedback. If he had charged $17 for shipping and carefully packaged and protected the chips (evidencing some service for the charge), no negative feedback. It was the combination of the two which, in my opinion, justified negative feedback.
